CURRENT OPENINGS:

Member Service Staff

Help make a create a welcoming and friendly environment for our members and our guests. In this role you will be responsible for providing facility tours, signing up memberships and program registrations, answering phone calls and more!

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Money handling experience with a high level of confidentiality & accuracy needed
  • Experience/training in customer service, public relations or related field is a plus
  • Adult and child CPR/First Aid CPR Certification
  • Part-time availability (position 10-30 hours per week)


Lifeguards & Swim Instructors

Join our team of lifeguards and swim instructors in providing high quality customer service while building relationships with other staff and program participants. In this role you will maintain the health and safety of all members, conduct YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons, have a positive impact on children and adults of all ages and more!

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 15 years old
  • American Red Cross (or equivalent):
  • Lifeguard Certification
  • CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification
  • Water Instructor Certification, preferred
  • Part-time availability


Birthday Party Staff

The Y is seeking creative and energetic individuals to be positive role models while engaging youth in enriching and fun activities as a Birthday Party Staff.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Excitement to participate and play with children

Youth Sports Coaches

If you’re serious about developing youth through sport, we invite you to join our passionate team of coaches. Our youth sport coaches impact participants through character development and positive competition.

Key Qualifications:

  • Some knowledge and experience playing organized sports is beneficial
  • Passion for working with youth
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Personal Trainers

Personal trainers are responsible for the development and incorporation of training programs for members of the Y. The trainer provides accurate fitness information, plans effective programs, and addresses participant’s questions. Personal trainers’ possess the ability to motivate participants at all skill and fitness levels, along with the ability to identify incorrect lifting techniques and how to correct the individual. The trainer is also responsible for all scheduling of clients and tracking accurate records of client’s attendance and payment history.

Key Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification
  • Adult and child CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
  • YMCA Fitness Assessment Certification or experience in this area is a plus

Group Fitness Instructors

Are you passionate about fitness and want to motivate others to achieve their health and wellness goals in a supportive and caring way?

We are looking for certified fitness instructors to lead many of our different fitness classes offered at the Y. These include but are not limited to Zumba®, Pilates, Yoga, Group Cycling, Strength & Conditioning, and Water Exercise classes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Group exercise certification through a nationally recognized and/or accredited organization (YMCA of the USA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, etc.)
  • Ability to teach a well planned group exercise class on own
  • Ability to spot and correct incorrect form use by participants
  • Adult and child CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
  • Dependability is a must
  • Part-time availability
